The Ceramic Honing Rod has been designed for quick repairs to straighten the blade. Honing rods are not used for sharpening - for that please use sharpening stones. Length 215mm (8.5 inches), grit #1200.

Ceramic honing rod remains abrasive for a long time, but due to its ceramic structure, it is more fragile and sensitive to impacts and breakage.
